WALT: Write a Narrative

Tsunami warning Friday 05/03/21

Last Friday in the morning at class we were ready to start the day when I noticed that Mrs Jujnovich said pack your bags and line up on the deck.    Then the class noticed an alarm was going off on Mrs Jujnovich phone and Millan said "It was happening.  The Tsunami is coming." Next I got very very very unnerved that Millan said that the Tsunami was coming.  I 

was bursting with tears and started to cry.  Then we ran to the hall and waited for the classes to arrive.  After that all the students were running in the hall and walked across the road up to Mount Ngatu.  After the classes had interval and a toilet break. the classes had to go higher and higher up to the top.  

Up at the top I saw a giant farm of prickly gorse and lots of trees and fences.  Then I heard Whaea Deb and some students playing HEDBANZ and Guess what, superheroes that they are acting like, we can be heroes, Deadpool, Green Arrow, Ant Man. 

Then all of the class had to go down the steep hill to the gazebo.  I felt like I was gonna slip and zoomed down and bump my head onto the hard rock solid ground so I slowed down a little when we got to the gazebo Mrs Brydon said "Let's do Waiata. "

Then my mum picked me up and took me to Aniwaniwa school where it was safe.  And I said "WHAT A DAY!"
